WhatsApp works like Telegram — a chat button on your site and booking alerts — but it goes through the Meta Cloud API, with your own WhatsApp Business number. It takes a little more setting up, and it reaches clients who will never install anything else.
What you need from Meta
- A Phone number ID and a permanent access token — both required.
- The WABA ID and the app secret, which let us verify that incoming messages really come from Meta.
- Press Connect, then save the number your clients will write to.
The rule that surprises everyone
Meta only lets you write freely to someone for 24 hours after their last message. Beyond that, a reply has to use a template approved by Meta. This is not our limit and we cannot lift it — it is why an answer sent three days later may not go through.
Options
- Show the «Chat on WhatsApp» button on your site.
- Be notified of new bookings.
- Be notified of incoming messages.
- A welcome message, sent automatically on first contact.
Telegram or WhatsApp — pick the one your clients actually use. Running both means watching two inboxes for the same conversation, and it rarely pays.
